First of all, we would like to thanks all the people involved in saving us during that big sanitary crisis the world is just emerging from, those people did not count their hours at the hospital to take care of us and we will be forever grateful for them who are doing a remarkable job and are so brave… Thank you also to everyone for staying home and help saving more lives, we are sure that for some of you, it has been a very hard time, especially for the ones living on their own, so THANK YOU ALL! Of course, making business was not the priority those last weeks and we all took that time life offered us, to stop everything and to reflect more on our lives and maybe take better actions for a better planet in the future.

Talking about good action, it is no secret that small independent businesses like Hostel Humanity and many others in Puerto Morelos and around the world have been highly impacted since March 2020. Your Hostel Humanity will be re-opening at 40% of its capacity by June 1^st, 2020 and we hope that you will be choosing us or other independent small hotels for your next vacations to help us survive and keep our local employees safe at their job!

What does it mean, opening at 40%? We have 2 privates’ rooms with queen beds that will be opened. But, regarding our dormitories, the 4 person’s one will welcome a maximum of 2 persons and the three 8 people dormitories that we have will welcome a maximum of 3 persons per room.

By July 1^st, if the COVID 19 situation keeps going better, we will be able to open again at 100% of our capacity. Meanwhile, we will, of course, provide you with anti-bacterial gel and we would appreciate for you to wear your facemask when you will enjoy the common areas of Hostel humanity around the pool, the lounge room, the kitchen, the hammocks zone, the balcony or the roof top terrace.
